In September 2009 Alfa-Inform Group of Private Security Companies has finished all the tests and put into operation the «ActiveGuard» system, which allows on-line control of patrol groups.
The main operating principle of Аctive Guard system is very simple and involves on-line transfer of information from the patrolling points via GSM/GPRS/SMS to the Аctive Guard software.
The Active Guard software installed on the PC helps to prepare and optimize patrolling areas. The RFID control points are to be placed along the patrolling area and the identification numbers of the points are saved in the PC along with the control point’s transit time. The custodial servants are equipped with scanning devices and while patrolling the area they draw the scanning devices to the RFID control points. The device sends out wireless power and the RFID scanner receives and sends back the signals containing the transit time and RFID data.
The duty officer working with the program on-line control the patrolling custodial servants. The exact date, transit time, name and identification number of the RFID control point is saved in the system on the PC.
Active Guard scanners are completely autonomous and can uninterruptedly work for 48 hours after the re-charge.
The signals from the scanners are transferred via GPRS, GSM and SMS directly to the PC of the duty officer controlling the patrolling groups.
In case of danger the custodial servants can use the alarm button or the «call back» button. The duty officer receives the alarm signals in seconds and sends patrolling forces to the object or calls the RFID control point for details.
Аctive Guard scanners can send out to the PC the following signals: scanning, alarming, calling back and test signals.
Scanning signals
Scanning signals can be sent by drawing the scanner device to the control point. If there is a change in the time periods of the signals sent out the PC automatically signalize the difference. For instance if the patrolling check time is 30 minutes and is 1 minute delayed, the system signalize the delay. Then the patrolling persons are identified and the system shows the eternal data.
Alarming signals
Alarming signals can be sent by pressing the «attack» button. The software signalizes the attack in one second and the duty officer sends the swift response group to the area. He also can call the alarming control point for details.
Sabotage signals
In case the body of the device is being damaged or open the system immediately sends out the sabotage signals.
Low battery signals
The duty officer receives the signal that the battery is low and needs to be changed. This information is sent so that the duty officer would have enough time to charge the device.
The Duty Officer «call back» signals
The «call back» signals can be sent by pressing the «call back» button. The Duty Officer calls the number of the scanning device and talks to the servant.
Test signals
Test signals can be sent automatically to confirm smooth cooperation between the scanner device and the PC system. In case of sabotage the system immediately signalizes that the data transfer process is being interrupted.
